How's
electric tower clock developed?
The
oldest tower clock appeared in Europe about five hundred
years ago and was completely mechanical construction with
pendulum as driving force and bells were stroke manually
for chimes. Therefore, a tower clock project at that
time is very much complicated. As stepping into electric
era, electric tower clock controlled by microprocessor and
computer has been developed. In China, this industry
has grown up since 1980s and now has achieved the world
top level in technologies and applications.

What
does a tower clock consist of?
The
electric tower clock is a mech-electric product consisting
control center and slave clocks. The control center
includes master clock, GPS receiver, hour-striking control,
and illuminating control, etc. Master clock or GPS
receiver is the time base and provides standard time information
for the entire system. The control center sends
signals to control slave clocks running, hour striking,
and illumination. The slave clocks are clocks that
people see from outside, normally there are four in one
tower clock (sometimes one, two, there, or more than four).
Each slave clock consists of movement, dial, markers, hands,
and backup batteries.

How
to set up the plan for a tower clock project?
If
you need us to provide the plan for your tower clock project,
you'd better send us your requirements and drawings of the
installation position. After reception of these information,
we'll recommend a plan according to your request in the
shortest time.
What
are the materials for dial?
Light
construction materials are often used for tower clock dials,
such as fluorocarbon coated aluminum plate, aluminum alloy
plate, acrylic plate with stainless steel frame, and aluminum
plastic plate. The wall surface of the building can
also be used as dial itself.
How
to determine dial style?
We
have more than twenty dial samples picture for you to make
a choice.
How
to determine dial size with installation height?
According
to our many years of experiences on tower clock design and
manufacturing, we provide the following diagram as a reference
for dial size with installation height.
What's
music hour striking?
Music
hour striking is programmed music and/or chimes play at
specified hours. We provide CD quality music striking
and voice chip quality music striking as well. Different
chimes and music melodies can be provided on request.
How
many options for tower clock illumination?
Illumination
controlled automatically by the tower clock control center
has four options: hands and markers illumination, reflective
illumination, inside-dial illumination, and outer lamp illumination.
